Sempergreen Privacy Policy

Sempergreen makes every effort to ensure that your privacy is protected. This privacy policy tells you
how Sempergreen uses and protects the personal information that you share with Sempergreen via
e-mail and whenever you use the Sempergreen website. If we ask you to provide any information
with which you can be identified, this information shall be used only in accordance with this privacy
policy.

Personal data that we process

Sempergreen makes no attempt to identify persons who visit the Sempergreen website and does not
provide these persons with third-party services. Whenever a visit is made to www.sempergreen.com,
we will not receive any personal information from you unless you yourself fill this in and send it to us.
We may ask you for the following information on certain pages of the website:

  • Name and company name
  • Contact information including telephone number and e-mail address

For which purpose and on the basis of which principle do we process personal data?

Sempergreen processes your personal information if you have provided permission or for the
performance of an agreement. We do this for the following purposes:

  • The provision of our services
  • Sending quotes, order confirmations, sales invoices and other commercial documents
  • Sending our newsletter if you have registered for this
  • In order to be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary for the performance of our
    services

Automated decision-making

Sempergreen does not make decisions that can have (considerable) consequences for persons on the
basis of automated processing.

Data retention

We do not save the data any longer than is required. In other words, we retain data for as long as it is
necessary to provide you with the requested service. Information that we are required to save by law
is an exception to this.

Sharing personal information with third parties

Sempergreen does not sell your information to third parties and provides this solely if it is necessary
for the performance of our agreement with you or in order to comply with a legal obligation. We
conclude a processor’s agreement with companies who process your data at our assignment in order
to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality concerning your data.

How we safeguard personal data

Sempergreen takes the protection of your information seriously and takes appropriate measures to
counter misuse, loss, unauthorised access, undesired publication and impermissible change. If you

Sempergreen uses only technical cookies, functional cookies and analytical cookies that do not
infringe upon your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or
smart phone upon the first visit to this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical
operation of the website and for your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and
they recall, for example, your preferred settings. We can also use these to optimise our website. You
can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In
addition, you can also remove all information that was previously stored via the settings in your

Viewing, changing or removing data

You have the right to view, correct or remove your personal information. Furthermore, you have the
right to rescind any permission you may have given for data processing or you can lodge an objection
to the processing of your personal information by Sempergreen, and you have the right to the
transferability of data. This means that you can submit a request to us to send a computer file of the
personal information that we possess about you to yourself or to any organisation you designate.
You can send a request for insight, correction, removal, data transfer of your personal data or a
request for rescission of your permission or objection to the processing of your personal data to

In order to be certain that you are the party making the request for insight, we ask that you send a
copy of your ID along with the request. In this copy, you should blacken out your passport photo,
MRZ (machine-readable zone – i.e., the row of numbers at the base of the passport), the passport
number and social security number. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond as quickly as
possible to your request, at least within four weeks.
